Cookies used by Virtually Informed
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site. The table below explains the cookies we use and why.
The cookies we use may change from time to time as we add new functionality, and we will update this page when we add any new cookies. We are working on enabling users to accept and reject individual groups of cookies.
The list of cookies we use are listed below, there are three set by our Content Distribution Network (provided by Cloudflare, our third party supplier) which enable us to ensure that all pages are served fast all around the world - hence these are all necessary for any user to be able to view any page of this website.
The remaining cookies are local cookies from our own servers, these can be classed as:
- those relating to Cookie Consent and are necessary to record your choice, and
- those relating to a user logging in to the website which are only stored if a user logs on.
At the time of writing this page we do not use any other third party processor (other than Cloudflare, already mentioned above), and although we do use some third party web services, we do not believe any of them to be storing cookies on your device locally - these include open web fonts and icons.
Please note that cookies 7, 8, 9 and 10 above are only stored if a user signs in / logs into their account.
How do I change my cookie settings?
The functionality to allow you to set which cookies you want to accept or reject is not available yet, but will be available by November 2018, at it is currently being tested.
